Although i do not wear make up now i used to when i was a teen (no i was not a drag queen) I was obsessed with Marilyn Manson, Was one of the original Mansonites from 93 to 95, So yes i was close to goth at one time, But i never really considered myself one, Just always got labeled as such, I was always the kid with knee high combat boots, Cut off black shorts and a Type O negative or Manson shirt, From 90 on i was a huge Type O fan, And still am to this day, I always had long hair and a i want to slit your throat and piss in your neck look on my face, I was a very lost soul, I HATED God, I was a devote satanist (I ask that you please read my testimony here [Only admins are allowed to see this link] , Now i have completely changed my life obviously but it was a long dark twisted road to get to where i am now, But as you can see by my music and all of my web related stuff i am a very dark person, SO WHAT, God is still there for me regardless, But anyways i was wanting to say a few words about the goth culture, As i said i was a part of it myself for a few years but then got into death metal and black metal and grew tired of the culture so i left it, But i will also say one of my closest friends Phil is a goth and he has opened my eyes back up to the goth culture (no Dave is not going to wear make up,lol) what i mean is he opened my eyes to goth music again and man did i miss it without even realizing it, Anyways this is why i posted the goth forum, So Phil and anyone else who happens to be a part of it will have a little place on the board to visit...
Napalm Dave
p.s i will not tolerate goths being compaired to emo kids on this board, that is something that has always pissed me off, emo there is no excuse for and has nothing to do with the goth underground...
